Works for Dalls though. Overpaid, but still a good 3C. Dallas added Nish,Seguin,Horcoff and Peverly this week and only lost Prospects and Erikson.

not even an issue, our core is locked up and we still have alot of cap space, horcoff and gonchar will be gone when we need to re up a few players. i actually like horcoff on our 4th line. upgrade on fiddler and nystrom. and i got a laugh out of the 2016 7thrd pick. larsen will never be an everyday nhler

Despite that cap hit, Horcoff did have value. His value was lower because of the contract, but still, well done MacT. I think Dallas got a good deal as well, Horcs will be a great addition.

Oh he is a decent 3C. There is still a chance Hemsky + gets us one, if not, I think there are a couple good 3C options in free agency.
